Update: Justin made it to a spot with cell service. He called Jewel and let her know he is currently fine and driving out. He is fallowing the rescue vehicle down the trail. Should be back to 140 soon.

Update: driveshaft removed, truck is moving under its own power. once I get confirmation Justin has made it to pavement or something else comes up I will update the post.

Update: Tools Have arrived on location, driveshaft removal is currently in progress. I have called and confirmed in both Burns and Winamucca NAPA has the u-joints, but no drive shafts. A drive shaft can be to either location tomorrow if ordered by 3:00 pm pacific today. And those are the two...

I highly second this advice…

Except in most states it’s ileagle to talk on the phone while driving , but you can still talk on a two-way radio… secondly even with the advancement of technology, armature radio isn’t going away.
