I’ve been diving since the 90s. I started at 8. My parents owned a dive shop in Jupiter FL. I have been all over the Caribbean and I’ll stack Jupiter up with any of the islands (except little cayman). I hold Nitrox, open water, advanced open water, rescue diver, and dive master certs.

So the wife and I have 6 days off during thanksgiving and we want to visit family in TX. We have relatives near Victoria and Austin. We are leaving from palm beach county. What are some cool trails and camp spots off I-10 and I-75, or anything else not too far out of the way?

I prefer ground tents or just sleep in the truck if I’m solo. RTTs are cool when your actually using them, but they are a PITA to to store, install and remove when your not using them. Unless you plan to throw it up there and leave it, to me it’s more trouble than it’s worth. I have the gazelle...

Does anyone planning to go have a solar charger or a small generator. If I bring the bass boat, it would be pretty cool to charge my trolling motor batteries.

How are you getting the 4.30 gears in a 2500? I believe that the 4.30 only comes in an 11.8 ring gear and 2500s use the 11.5. If you can run 4.30s, that’s what I’ll be going with once I need new tires
