    Greater Seattle area virtual campfire

Maybe meet up around 10am at Snoqualmie / North Bend? Alternatively, I could hop in the car in the next hour and be there for some exploring this afternoon, it is pretty close so that wouldn't be a problem either.

Missed your message, OB notifications can be iffy sometimes. Sounds good, yeah, we can do Sunday (this afternoon would also work, whatever you prefer). Time preference?

I am in! Happy to help pick a spot, but I've been around the shortest so if someone has something in mind that is perfect for me.

My LR3 bed sleeping platform is still a work in progress, currently waiting for my alumnium tubing to arrive, so that will be a little while. But I am down for a day trip any time.

Looking good Charlie! And same, I am always looking for adventure. Some areas that I've had my eye on that should have manageable snow levels for a day trip of exploring: Olympic national forest (the southern portion that is east of Hood canal) South west corner of the Gifford Pinchot NF...

Ah, yes, that makes a lot of sense. It costs an arm and a leg but I try to always keep some Duveltjes and Trappist beers in the fridge. Combined with the hagelslag from Amazon and I'll be all set.

Haha, I can imagine! I can count the times I've spoken Dutch in person since moving on one hand. Originally from the south of NL (ie Brabant / Limberg)? "Mennekes" certainly suggests it, I am a born and raised "Brabander" so that sounds all too familiar.

Thanks Greg! I've read about Lynden but we haven't visited yet, we've been looking for a place to get some Dutch snacks, this sounds like the place to look haha. Good call on those Rally Points, that certainly sounds like a great time. I am still finding my way around the app / site, so very...

Thanks, I'll check those out. I'd love to do some of the mods myself (and I will!) but without a driveway and garage it is difficult to do the larger things.

Greetings from a Dutchie in Seattle!

Hi everyone, My wife and I moved from the Netherlands to Seattle last year and have really fallen in love with the outdoors of the PNW. We've been camping out of our SUV for a while now but recently closed a deal on a 2008 LR3 (or disco 3 as I am used to) to convert into our dedicated "outdoor...
