What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

Built a winch Mount, and a mini bumper around it. Finished the rear bumper and painted it.

Anybody else out there do their own body work and paint their vehicles themselves?

I did in my home shop. Single stage enamel, nothing special. But neither is the truck haha.

    Hurricane creek

Thanks, I’m on 35s in a full-size so I should be mostly ok. I’ll be out in that area after Christmas for a few days and looking for a few trails to run and places to see.

    2013 F250 rock sliders

Ah you’re set then. Just build it overkill lol. And I’m in the bigger than most overland category too so I understand. I have 2x4 .250 wall box tubing in the shop for my sliders. They will have some tube on the outside of them to help with a step and roof access

    Hurricane creek

I’d like to run this at the end of December. Hoping it’s not closed down then. Assuming the ruts are solid bottom and it’s more of a clearance issue than a traction? Great looking btw

It’ll more than likely be a custim Build. I’d find a local cab shop to see what they can build you

Why are there so few Silverado overland rigs?

Keep in mind the Nitto mud grappler is quite possibly the loudest mud tire on the market. However I’m on my second set and that’s my only complaint.

Why are there so few Silverado overland rigs?

35s are 100% possible on stock wheels on a stock gmt800, they will rub the frame at full lock and require very minor trimming. I’ll post pics of my old halfton with 35s

Why are there so few Silverado overland rigs?

To be fair I didn’t read the entire thread. I run a full size Sierra 2500hd diesel crew cab short bed as my adventure rig. I also daily drive it literally every day. Anything that gets you out of the daily grind and out into NEATure is good enough for me and I’m glad it’s what gets you out...
