Yup, it is a RAM mount X Grip holding my Samsung Note 8 phone. I drilled a hole in the side of the radio trim piece and mounted a ball there. It is nice and solid. Keeps the phone tucked away in a wasted space. I'm pretty happy with the spot.

It is almost 2 months old. Too busy at work to get out and enjoy it so stopped by the river the other night just to get off the pavement for a minute.
