Would you choose Oregon or Colorado?

Agreed. I live a little further out for similar reasons. Basically head to Oregon City then go another 20 minutes away from people.

    Simple first time rundown trip...

Yup, it is a RAM mount X Grip holding my Samsung Note 8 phone. I drilled a hole in the side of the radio trim piece and mounted a ball there. It is nice and solid. Keeps the phone tucked away in a wasted space. I'm pretty happy with the spot.

Would you choose Oregon or Colorado?

You will, in my opinion, be in one of the most beautiful parts of Oregon. The Mt Hood area is incredible and where I spend most my time. I live right on the edge of the Mt Hood National Forest. There are some incredible hikes and waterfalls all over the place. A coworker just did a 40 mile hike...

Do you have an idea what area of Oregon you're visiting?

Moving to the Portland area in August!

Traffic times are very relative on what part of town you're trying to get to. I work on the SW side of Portland where it takes many of my coworkers an hour to commute within Portland to their homes. Let's say 10 to 15 miles. I live 37 miles from work and it takes me under an hour in the morning...

Would you choose Oregon or Colorado?

I'm not familiar with CO at all but I know Oregon pretty well. If you haven't spent much time here just know there is a pretty big difference between being from "Oregon" and being from "Portland." If you can avoid Portland do it. Becoming way too crowded. Traffic 7 days a week. Protests every...

    Simple first time rundown trip...

Wife and I went to our son't summer camp for one night and to bring him home so picked a little bit of a scenic route to get the rig off the pavement a little. Nothing serious at all. Mostly old logging and forest roads. Could have done it in a car but wouldn't have been much fun. Basically...

Gaia GPS 1 YEAR Membership Give away.

For me it is just getting out and to places that you can't generally just drive to on pavement. Getting my family and myself out a little ways from people and the hustle bustle of town. We live in the country but deal with the city every day. I want to get even further out there to enjoy it...

    Rig Photos

It is almost 2 months old. Too busy at work to get out and enjoy it so stopped by the river the other night just to get off the pavement for a minute.

    Hello from Northwest Oregon

I can't offer much. I visit the Bend area several times a year but never for off road adventures. I suspect that will change in the near future but I have yet to explore much via vehicle or without a rifle.

    Photography

Haven't had the time or a chance to discuss anything much about my rig or anything but can't resist sharing some of my photography. My wife. Central Montana just outside a Boy Scout camp my son and his troop was at 2 years ago. Had an awesome week there. Glacier National Park Downtown...

    Hello from Northwest Oregon

New member from just outside or Portland, OR Many years ago had a Jeep XJ that I really enjoyed. It came to a sudden halt of existence one day and I got away from wheeling/exploring until now. Just picked up a 2018 TRD 4Runner a few weeks ago. Installed TRD Pro suspension, spacer, springs...
