Hello fellow OB members, I have decided to rent my TC Teardrops 5x8 "Off-Road Expedition (ORE)" trailer when I am not using it. Here is a link to where it can be rented (with insurance): 2018 TC Teardrops Offroad Edition Trailer Rental in Wrentham, MA | Outdoorsy
If anyone knows of anyone that...
Ah, I'll keep asking around. Thanks!!
The MXT115 I run is actually a really nice radio, and it's tiny. If you are in the market it does the job well, just needs a little better antenna (hence why I'm here)
Hey Terry D,
I am actually looking into this also, do you happen to know if the weather channel still works on your Midland with this radio? I've read that these radios don't pick up the weather reports.
Thanks!
Andy
This might be the wrong thread, but at least it's related. I just purchased an iPad mini 4 (WiFi) on Black Friday (online, I am not crazy). It was $150 off MSRP, which persuaded me to go with the WiFi only iPad as the price difference to the GPS enabled iPad today is $280, plenty of room to...
Awesome timing, I have a CB radio installed in my Jeep, and have begun taking some practice tests and exams for a HAM radio lisence. What are your thoughts on the Yaesu? I have been looking for a non-handheld HAM radio. Also what antennas do you use/recommend (if any).
If anyone is curious, here is the link to the actual lift portion of the changes: http://www.mass.gov/courts/docs/lawlib/500-599cmr/540cmr6.pdf
Good news is under section 6.06 “violations” - you are given a 1” tolerance due to variances.
I am still looking for the wheel/tire changes, if any...
The proposed change is from 2200 to 1400 allowing 5 inches of lift (using my vehicles features).
Looks like Maine might have a surge in out of state registrations if this all goes through :)

Not sure about tires yet, but the lift math is: wheel base x wheel track / 2200. I have a Jeep JKU (116” x 61.9” / 2200) = 3.26” of allowed lift on my Jeep. I have a 3” lift, I’m curious if they are including any lift you may gather from larger tires. I’m trying to find info on the updated...
I got my Overland Bound emblems the other day, and I am struggling with where to mount them. I have a Jeep JKU, and a slight case of OCD (things MUST line up and be symmetrical, and yes the fact that the "trail rated emblem and the antenna are not in the same spot in relation to each side of...
I’ve been running BFG KO2s 35’s for over a year now and I have only one wish; that they performed better in snow, they’re not bad, just wish they were better. I wouldn’t worry about it, haters gonna hate.

Has anyone heard the rumors that you will be rejected for oversized tires when Massachusetts changes their inspection rules later this year?
I know currently you can have oversized tires and you are allowed to have your tires exposed if the vehicle is equipped with 4 wheel drive, but that it...
interesting thread, I am glad I read through this. I have been in the market for a teardrop and have also wondered about extra waterproofing. I am also leaning towards lining the undercarriage first to keep the salt water from destroying the trailer in the winter (live in New England). Have...
