Trim level? How rough are you planning to wheel? I'm in a Tacoma Offroad package but if I could do it again I might have gone with the zr2 Colorado for the factory front locker and sliders etc.

You should say something but be tactful. People turning a blind eye is the reason why so many places get shut down. Hell I've been called out and didn't know I was in the wrong. Dude was cool about it and I still speak to him regularly. Especially since he knows the area I love to visit so well

There's companies that will rent as well. Hopefully you find someone local that's cool about it

I'll make this suggestion. Get some trips under your belt and then decide what YOU need. Having tons of gear is cool.... If you actually use it. I'm not an expert on this stuff. But I have been in the Offroad community for a bit so grain of salt and all that jazz
