Spent too much time on some washboard roads, shaking off my engine skid plate...thus, the new RCI skid plate! About 20lbs heavier, but not thin steel, thick steel! : D

I got there at about 12:30pm, 1st one there...good thing, too. I knew the spot and put up the OB flag for the turn off the trail to campsite. Seems that all but ONE, read the coordinates off the thread, opposed to the Rally Point's coordinate, which only showed the turn from one asphalt road to...

The weather is gonna be cold and crappy for Friday night, but that's half the fun!!! We'll miss you, and see you at the next Meeting?

Base camp was Selby Camp Ground. Got a bit crowded because of the holiday weekend, but still managed to impress with the views and fun wheelin'.

Check out Brown Meadow in the Southern Sierras...no running water, but pit toilets and not many people...I believe it in the South part of the Sequoias
