1) To the South Carolina folks, I'm hoping at some point in the near future to make a Saturday run up to Southeast Overland in Seneca for a quick shopping trip and just supporting businesses that support Overlanding. When this comes about, I'll post up my trip and to the Upstate...
How does everyone feel about Saturday Nov. 18th, 9 am at the Ingles in Cleveland Ga.? South Carolina folks also chime in if this works for you as well.

I'm leaning towards Fab Four or the Honeybadger from Addictive Desert Design for the front but on the rear that may be a custom as I want to incorporate an exoskeleton around and over the bed/top also tied into the sliders.
Tundras are becoming a very popular pickup as I see more and more on the road. I can see niche manufacturers coming out with various product offerings but don't look for the same levels of product offering as can be found for the Jeep for example. At least ARB was honest enough to say it as...
We ended up at Tallulah Gorge. LOL!
I did pick up an ARB portable air compressor and ARB air down tool yesterday at 4 Wheel Parts and I've ordered Decked Drawers for the Tundra as well. Even with the wedding coming up I managed to slip that one in but then Cindy has been telling me to order...
No deals seemed in the offering but a price increase is coming in the next month or so. My plan was to look you up but during the prior week I hurt my ankle (starting to think I've hurt it pretty bad as the problem persists) so to be able to even make Expo, I did a GameDay tape and brace job...
After seeing the Decked Drawers in CFT's Tundra and then getting to check them out at the Decked display at Expo, pulled the trigger today and ordered my Decked Drawers.
Got a lot of plans for my Tundra ahead and CFT's Tundra has been a fantastic idea platform to noodle over.
Thanks CFT for...
Sounds like Oct. 28th may not be a good date after all. Even a problem for us as the night before we have a wedding related event. Is Nov. 18th a better date? Does that Saturday on the weekend before T-giving become a problem?
Cindy and I went up yesterday and we checked out Helen proper...
For you SC folks, what about a meet up along US 76 at Blairsville Ga.? The problem may be 76 coming through Clemson on a game day but you could take 183 out of Pickens and hit 76 at Westminster and shoot West. Let know if this is good or bad.
So far of the folks who have replied, they want to do something close to the trails. If everyone wants a social event, Commerce does make a lot of sense or the Dahlonega Wal-Mart and then find a place to eat from there. I'm open to any of that and even Dahlonega isn't that far from trails. If...
Is all electric Overlanding in our future? Got my December issue of Petersen's 4 Wheel & Off Road which has an article about the Bollinger B1 so I dug around and found an article on the net about this prototype vehicle. Not at the manufacturing stage yet but according to the Petersen's...
Going up Wednesday. Wife is taking off work and riding along. Works even better for me as she runs the mapping tablet so we can nav on the fly instead of me alone doing both meaning I'll be stopping more.
Can't say for sure. I've heard others speak of it. Just a suggestion to check out which is close to meeting the need of something centrally close. There is also the larger Oconee National Forest to check out too.
If all goes well my plan is to ride up into the Helen area on Tuesday to scope out a meet up point. Weekends in the fall are pretty tight in downtown Helen so our options in downtown may be limited at best. One spot I'm going to look at to meet up is the parking lot at the Mt. Yonah trailhead...
We need to throw out some dates. Nov 4th and 11th are out for me. Oct. 14 iffy 21st and 28th probably OK. Nov. 18th is great but being close to T giving I know that date may be tough. What about the 28th?
