Wow there are some really nice rigs on here.
Here's an update on mine, I was able to find a topper. I had it painted to match. I went to the junk yard and found a roof rack from a jeep grand cherokee. I mounted it to the top and I mounted super strut to the top of the inside.
We had a blast...
Well I bit the bullet and excited about getting to know yall. I'm member #23058 Ive been on the forums for awhile but haven't posted a lot.
I'm a husband and a father of 3, and my rigs are a 2014 ram 1500 lonestar 4x4 5.7 and a 2017 jeep grand cherokee trailhawk 4x4 5.7.
I have been itching to...
Well I was finally able to find a cap for my truck. I found it and had it painted to match. We were able to make a trip before I got it painted and it worked well. We stayed pretty warm in 25⁰ night. Cant wait to go out again
They are plastic, and so far I absolutely love them. I had a regular toolbox in the bed, but with the bed cover on, I never wanted to use it. To much trouble, rolling up the cover, climbing up into the bed, and rolling the cover back down. Nope. Now I actually use my boxes!
Nice truck man. Looks like you have the 67" bed (5'7"). Good luck. They make them but they're high af. I'm in the same boat. I've been looking for a camper shell (used) that fits for well over a year. I can find anything for a 6'5" bed and even the 8' bed. But nothing for the short 67" bed.
I just installed my swing boxes and I love them. I also installed the outlet in the bed. Fishing rods, axe and shovel mounted behind them. Bed lights are a must also!
I did some work the past couple of days. 2 switches and an outlet with 2 USBs, 12v, and volt meter. Boxes installed and wired up a fuse box for all of my leds and accessories. Including a dual usb plug in my center console and a 12v outlet behind the rear seat for the solar panel. Also installed...
Its basically a piece of metal bent to go under the trim with a magnetic mount. I do have a hole drilled for the charging cable that runs below the console to a switch. The switch controls the charging for a USB plug in the center console, tablet and dashcam, 10w solar panel trickle charger, and...
I want to the rams! Preferably 1500s but it doesn't matter.
Here is my '14 Ram 1500 lonestar 5.7 4x4 crew cab with the 5'7" bed (the only thing I dont like about it)
