Two things about Richland Rd: 1) although Richland Rd is public access, the bridge that crosses the creek at the start of it IS private property. So, when wheeling there, please be sure you DON'T cross that bridge, go thru the creek. 2) It's a little more than an unimproved road ;-)...

Not that I'm aware of. But you can do a day trip to ure, doesn't have to be a whole weekend. It's only about 1 hr 15 mins from ya, so totally doable. I'm going Saturday with a group for the day

Dickey Bell is no longer stock friendly. I wheeled it just with a 2" lift and skids 5 yrs ago without too much hassle. But as now...forget it. Its more/less a jagged rock garden getting up there. I'm at about 2.5" now, with skids still, and they've taken some good whacks now.

My parents live in Fort Mill....Sun City, and being I'm in Mebane....wow...talk about a small world! HMU when ya gonna be in Mebane...even if its just a couple mins and a handshake to meet, it's always cool to meet a local on here! I'll do same next time I got plans to visit mom/dad

Mebane here (next to Burlington ;-) ). Finally got back to URE a couple weeks ago for the first time in about 5 years. Plan on going many more times this year....got a season pass to the place :-) In terms of the Xterra, x2 on at least a 2" lift for there. Some may say you can do it stock...
