We too watched the first season of expedition overland and became intrigued.....
Nice Cherokee! Are you planning on attending the NW Overland Rally in WA in June?

We love our vehicles. We have our Jeep Rubicon that we use primarily during the summer and of course on our adventures, then a Dodge diesel truck that we don’t use too often but it’s our primary family adventure vehicle.......
We have a BUICK Enclave as our family car (she drives) and then an...
Well, the maps are nice but definitely need gps too. We thought the combo of using both worked great. We made a pretty detailed video about route 6.....if you can’t find the gps tracks for route 6, I can share our gpx file with you.

I don’t know if he responded to you, but are you looking for the actual physical maps? Or gps? We have done route 6 (we live in Coos Bay) and route 2 with plans to do route 4 and 5-2 in July.

If you haven’t been to Crater Lake in Oregon, it’s pretty amazing. If it’s sort of along your route and the timing is right.....

Great idea ( the post about cooking soup and then heating the bag later). I’m definitely going to do this our next trip!

Currently we use our backpacking equipment, as we are only about a year into overlanding. Now we are addicted and researching what to purchase. A small adventure sleep in trailer or a trailer with a tent......we are leaning towards the Recon trailer by Teardrops NW. However for now we use our...
We use Instagram and YouTube for any adventure related stuff. Both are labeled cjadventureoregon. We made a YouTube video after doing the Oregon Back Country route 6 to help others that may be interested in doing it (when researching we found one video about route 6) and then just kind of...
We will be there! Unfortunately we are meeting family in Leavenworth, WA so aren't camping this year, but we are going to definitely go one day (probably just one day since it's $50 a person for a daily price). Next year we plan to attend and camp. I figure we will wait until the schedule is up...
We are researching the Wbcdr and looking at doing the first section on our way up to the NW Overland Rally in June......it looks great!

You are welcome! I just made what I was hoping to find when I was searching. Now I’m hooked and make videos on every adventure, though. Route 6 was approximately 235 miles. Our plan was to get gas in Sutherlin, which we did (crossing I-5) and then the O’dell store, just north of crescent lake...
We didn’t do route 3 but we did do route 6 and really enjoyed it. I couldn’t find much on YouTube about route 6 so when we did it I videoed it to maybe help others who were interested in route 6. We had no issues with the route but if we wouldn’t have had more than just the maps we would’ve...
We really enjoyed routes 6 and 2. It was definitely good that we had the hard map and the gps route on our Garmin, though. Route 2 we ended up having to take a detour towards the end due to a fire, but it was still great! We have a few YouTube videos uploaded about our experience.......in our...
