Well, the water crossings are hood deep at times. It’s best to take them slow and do not splash into them. Here’s a photo of the Mt Misery Water Crossing. You will be going the opposite direction than the direction these guys were going.
As for the sloppy mud, there are a few sections where you...
It’s sent. If you don’t mind, after you load it into Gaia, please email me back screen shots of it in Gaia. I would like to see how it looks on that format. I like to try and stay away from subscriptions as much as possible and since Gaia is a subscription based system, from my understanding...
Yes the route is in GPX format but due to the way LeadNav formats the route into GPX, some other apps and devices do not get the full effect that LeadNav offers. Others who have used the route and Gaia have not had an issue but LeadNav actually offers the users audioable turn by turn directions...

Here's the link to the Official TNJT thread. I would like to direct all TNJT traffic over to this thread please.
Hey guys, and gals, I decided to create an “official” Trans New Jersey Trail thread. This is where you can find the “official” route and any route info you need to know. Also, this thread will be good for those to post info about the route; like road closures, detours, dangers, trees down, and...
Mark, there is no real “trail head”. You need a copy of the route. And you’ll need a device or app to run the route. If you have an iPhone or iPad, LeadNav app is the best app you can run the route on to get the full experience. You can also reverse the route in the app to be able to start in...
No problem! What time tomorrow. I’ll be out on the motorcycle. Not sure where I’ll be in relation to ya at the time you’re out but there’s a possibility I could bump into ya.
I prefer you send me a private message. Just send me your email in a PM and you’ll get the route. Sorry for the delay in seeing this. All my emails and notification emails for OB has been ending up in the junk folder of my email.
Guys, all my OB emails have been going into the junk folder of my email. Idk what the hell is going on with it. Sorry for delayed messages and responses. Those who asked for routes are getting them now. Sorry.
No, that is not my version of the route. My version is 100% legal roads that you’re allowed to be on.
I’m about 10000% sure that the roads they got ticketed on were where the hill climbs are in Jackson. The original enduro bike route had you go through this section. My route avoids this...
No problem. Ummm I would say something like 25-40% depending where you consider the north section to end. If you go by my High Point to Princeton North Section, I would say maybe 35-40%. If you go by what I did on Day 1, I’d say 25-30%.
All of y’all are going to have a blast on the trail. Just a heads up from my past experiences, don’t have too large of a group.
1, it causes way too much attention and attention is a very bad thing once you reach the pine barrens. Rangers and Park Police tend to see large groups of 4x4s as...
It’s all good bro. I still have the adventure bike and as Michael says, it doesn’t matter what you drive; right? Lmao! Maybe we can get together sometime and run some trails.
I thought about it long and hard but I didn’t want to turn my hobby into a job ya know?
I just didn’t pursue it any further. My focus changed and ultimately, I closed down MAX and sold off the rig. Many of people wanted MAX to become a guided tour business. It would have been great but I decided against it.
I apologize if I came off as being cocky. By no means do I mean for it to...
