What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

Noticed the front end getting a bit wonky in the curves. Found it.

    Where's your Awning?

I can't think of a pro / con for what side unless you plan on RTT or shower, etc. Also, is there an easier side to get to storage boxes or other rack mount stuff? Lighting? Cook area coverage? Other than that, I feel it's just a preference thing.

Wiring LEDs to two separate power supplies

It's not terribly difficult. You would have to use an interlocking relay to isolate the second power source. You could use an SPDT relay with the LED on the L1 and feed the cab rocker power into the NO, the rear rocker power to the NC. Then add ACC power to the coil. This would allow the...

    US Southeast Annual Uwharrie Run

Yea, those can be tough. My wife and I did a 12 hr run to UP, MI last fall for the Wounded Hero's run. I'd do it again. We made a trip of it by spending 2 days running around the KY DBBB on the way. We're planning more of that type of trip on the way to Colorado this fall.

What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

I've tried to go up Old House Gap Rd several times, but it's always gated on Mortimer end. The other end is open out of Linville, but the "Trout Unlimited" group has petitioned Grandfather district Ranger to close it because "off-roaders" were contaminating the stream for fishing. Never mind...

    Overland Expo East 2024

We ran all through Cataloochee area yesterday. I am just heading back to Burnsville, leaving camp on Shad Rd - lots of mud. Old Buzzard Roost Rd was fun, pretty good climb in deep ruts.
