Not sure if you know this place or not but they have some cool FJ gear....(lots of stuff but REALLY nice patches!!)...

Quite right about the lens. I am thinking about putting my Canon 10-22 on the console and setting the timer and letting it get the whole roof portion and all the patches. Thanks for the heads up on the TAD patch -- just ordered two!! I got burned last time and thought I would wait on the other...
Today had universal tracks/rails put on the canopy for the inevitable roof rack/awning.....(snorkel is in and install is 11/19).....
My wife is calling my truck "Winchester House" -- could it be the never ending project??? [emoji33]
Great rig and great shots!! Love the idea of a "wing" awning and wonder if the tailgate bumps/hits it? Wonder if the rear canopy window of my truck canopy would hit/bump it ....thoughts? Thanks!!
I'm also in the, "don't leave home without it," camp. If not the one pictured above then certainly another. I won't debate the merits except to say that I defend anyone's right to be a victim, all I ask is that you not interfere with my choice not to be.
Thanks!! Definitely keeping this in mind since I think I really like desert travel/camping......
@fj80toyman -- please add me to the tentative list -- I mentioned it but not sure if it got picked up....thank you!!!
.....and for the visual learners among us I've attached a couple of ideas for dinner & breakfast....
Hard to beat food - freeze dried or prepared campsite when outdoors with good friends & lots of fun!!!....

Hard to go wrong with Mountain House Chili Mac but with the added treat of crushed Doritos or Chili Cheese Fritos....try adding just a bit extra water and add chips at the end....serve with beverage of choice!! [emoji106][emoji2][emoji106]
Check out my photo page for what Line-X looks like along the bottom third and back bumper. I have seen it on some rigs and got it done when I got my truck new. Put one on this post. I like the look and think it would hold up well to scratches and such. No experience with RhinoLiner or others...
Great looking rig and some really thoughtful mods!! You will be glad you went with the canopy - adds a lot of options for either storage or living/sleeping, I LOVE my Tacoma and although it is a bit of money drain -- it FUNctional and FUN!! It was how I found Overlanding - since the internet...
