One big thing is that is that is is wired correctly, a #12 and and matching heavy duty plug etc. Most newer cars accessory plugs are #18 maybe and cannot handle the draw required. That will make your frig a food warmer......
I do try to watch the weight ( in my rig...) ButI like to be comfortable and watch the stars so I bring a Zero Gravity chair with me.
It"s got some weight and mass but I did build my rack and kit to fit it. It lasts about a year then falls apart. Due for a new one now.

FYI ,
Death Valley will be 125 in a few days and low about 97 and Vegas about 110 and 80 maybe.
I am in Central Az. and its average about 90 right now. So I would be careful in the lower desert and really watch the Southwest temps.
I camped in Canyonlands a few weeks back, a few miles east...
So what do you use for a pillow while out and about?
Bring the one you use at home.
Backpacker air pillow.
Fold up a shirt or towel....?
The one in the mattress you blow up.
Etc.
I bring 2, my neck likes the one at home so it comes along and another one for backup I guess........
If you can do a cylinder head a engine should be no problem, especially with all the Youtube videos. Engine lift, jack stands and a floor jack and a flat surface, concrete is a bonus. You can rent or find those cheap on craigslist or faceplate. BUT if the rest of the rig is worn out it is time...
