Mount for ARB twin compressor CA 4Runner passenger

Mounted under the hood in CA is fine. I have an appointment to get it installed, but I am looking for a mount or we will have to fab one.

Mount for ARB twin compressor CA 4Runner passenger

Does anyone have a source for a mounting bracket for an ARB twin compressor for a 4Runner on the passenger side? 2020 4Runner in CA. The one I see says it is not compatible with CA emissions packages, and guess where I live.

US West EastBay - Mendocino Forest Trip

I just cancelled. I just have too much going on at home right now. I am retired so I have all the time, but I rent and have had housemates which makes the financials flush. Last housemate left in March and even though I rent I am doing a bunch of work around the house. I was meant to have...

    My Raptor needs a name!!

It should be personal. I am still working it out but I like Backpack. My retirement plan was to get fit and go backpacking. 2 years of health issues later instead of me carrying a backpack my backpack carries me.

    Ultra Micro Overlander

So kinda like a suitcase on wheels? :tearsofjoy: huh. where's the thumbs up emoji? Interesting idea. I already grabbed some soft bags for laundry. Goes in the same space as the clean, just in the bag.

Box Talk: Thule/Yakima cargo vs. all the other boxes people put on their rooves.

I have a rtt but I travel alone mostly and learning to pack so I can easily sleep inside my 4Runner. Truth is I get more room length wise inside the 4Runner than in my Roofnest Falcon where I sleep diagonally. I also have a gazelle t4 and a long cot and that is super comfy and roomy. So. I was...

    Travelogue

Some YouTubers do great stories on the history or geology and the like and as I was driving around the last few weeks listening to the radio I thought I wonder if it would be possible to have a travelogue option to tell me stuff about the area I am currently in. I was thinking an audio blog...

US Northwest Idaho BDR (and then some!)

These are good questions. I like dispersed camping, but when I do extended trips I like to get a hot shower and do some laundry roughly once a week. I will stop at a truck stop for that usually, but I am also usually travelling solo. In between I might hop in a river, or I do have a wee battery...

US West Coyote Flats-Inyo National Forest

Really sorry, but I am not going to make this trip. It will have to stay on my bucket list for a bit. Not sure how to get off the attending list, never bailed before.

Take those numbers off and put them in a DM? This page is open to the public. No need to get exposed there.

US West Coyote Flats-Inyo National Forest

Added myself - I am coming from Oakland. Coyote Flats was on my bucket list for this year and these dates fit just right. 4Runner gets some suspension work done on Friday. I should probably meet up with you on the way, or in Bishop, maybe.

US West Boz's Blunder: Vehicle Recovery in Hunter-Liggett Area

I won't be up for any hiking. I hurt an Achilles tendon and it is mending well as I have been resting it since the Black Rock trip and don't want to hurt it again - I have a bunch of trips planned in July through September. I am just starting to exercise on it again with easy walks. But I have...

US West Boz's Blunder: Vehicle Recovery in Hunter-Liggett Area

Not an expert, but I have used my gear. Depending I could see vehicles linked to make a strong recovery point, so an extra vehicle might help. The snatch block can make a pulley system for extra heft. Also - haven't seen Hunter Liggett since 1981. Good excuse for a quick peek. 12" chainsaw Warn...

    CPAP power

I have a resmed airsense 10 cpap with a 12 volt transformer and a Jackery 1000. From 100% the Jackery is down to 92% in the morning on the cpap alone. I have never had a problem with it. Charges up slowly off the Jackery solar panels or after 2 or 3 hours driving.

Starlink for Overlanding Build & Mods

Robin thinks it is a dud as you get bottom of the barrel service per the agreement, and plugs Nomad Internet.
