    Legal Weapons and Overlanding

Please could you tell us what those places are. I’m genuinely interested. also, how did you get your guns to them? Isn’t it difficult taking firearms across borders?

    Legal Weapons and Overlanding

I’m pretty sure you’re missing the point. The US has a lot of gun crime. Those homicides, suicides etc still need guns. Guns are the problem you have but you think guns are the solution. like I said, this thread is the most foreign thing I’ve ever seen. I can’t imagine another country even...

    North Africa insurance

Thanks, we're aware of border insurance. I think maybe this person is not really cut out for non-eu travel. I'll maybe have to explain how the benefits outweigh the risks.

    North Africa insurance

I’m planning a trip through Morocco, mauritania and senega. One of the vans isn’t happy with border insurance. Anyone know of any companies who will provide 1st party (I.e. fully comprehensive) insurance for visitors to these countries. based in the UK if that Is important.

    ARB Pinnacle table

I have just bought one of these, it's a slow piece of kit but it's a touch too high on its lowest setting. It looks easy enough to chop the legs but I need to remove the adjusters first. Before I just pull and break something, does anyone know how they're fixed?

    Anyone tried OffGridCamp

...and have you tried their sites then? I don't really care how they got them, I want to know if the price is worthwhile :-)

Nearly wild describe themselves as a “clib” so I think the same thing. Have you tried their camp sites?

    Anyone tried OffGridCamp

I think it’s doing more than that. In the UK wild camping is illegal and you need planning permission to set up a camp site. However “clubs” are able to give that permission for “campsites” for up to 5 vans. So I guess Off Grid camp are a registered club and they are giving farmers the ability...

https://www.offgridcamp.co.uk/ It looks to have some nice spots but they’re not cheap - certainly not free.

    Best fire pit/BBQ

I know this is an old thread but we “upgraded” from a NOMAD grill to a tiny Skotti grill last year and love it. It’s all stainless steel, folds town to almost nothing - you can fit it in a backpack! It burns LPG, wood or charcoal. It’s small so only good for two but they do do a double sized...

Tools you love, cant live without!

Breakfast knives: These are a french version of a German invention. They are sharp enough to cut dried ham or sausage, they are great for cheese and will spread butter. They work as a break knife. We even use them as steak knives. great in the van or on a picnic.
