Does any company make a TRUE satellite based AM FM Stereo/GPS system (not cell tower based satellite but actual SATELLITE based)?

I looked into this a couple of years ago when I built a Land Rover discovery with a Mercedes Diesel engine. What I ran into is that no one (inside the U.S) make a legitimate satellite navigation GPS head unit. You can contact Garmin and see if they have made anything recently(usually for RVs)...

    Jerry Cans

I would say that wavian has the best but I have not tested them all. Go to Coleman’s surplus to get the German wide mouth Jerry can for around $40, a used nato can for around $32 Wavian cans are pricier but they are very well made, they are $80 a piece. I run two at most times.

    Best places to overland

Discovery trail is good, Olympic mtns near forks/la push is decent. I hear eastern Washington has some good places but I am only familiar with the ones out near me. Keep in mind that most of these are relatively shorter trails. I believe Oregon has some of the better longer overland trails but...

I feel like an apple freak. It's bronco release day. Ha ha.

My only real issue is that it is an IFS, which is a big one for me. However I think they did an absolute awesome job on design. This is probably the only new 4x4 I’d consider buying new.

Hola, I’ve been lurking this site along with ih8mud for a couple years and figured these are both great overland communities and along with general off-road. I’ve been overlanding for about 6 years and this is my second dedicated overland build. I’m finally back here in Washington state and...
