    NS Meat Cove Beach

The answer is: Yes camping is allowed on the beach separate from the campground as it is “government property”.

    NS Meat Cove Beach

I will be traveling NS in a few weeks, and would like to camp on the beach at Meat Cove. I have seen other videos where people have, but it was also off season for the campground. Other than the possible crowds, is this possible and or appropriate during the ”on” season as I’m not sure if it...

    Overland Dogs

We often travel with our Corgi. He doesn’t care for the drive but he tolerates it. Once we arrive he’s all in on the adventure. He loves the rtt. He’s relatively small compared to other breeds, but he’s healthy weight and solid. We have a friend outside of Cody and that is some beautiful...

    Pa roll call

We usually land at site 69 on the edge of the forest given the distance we travel. Most of the time firewood is pretty picked over. It’s considered a group site and has lot’s of room and sun. We’ve done #47 a number of times and it is up at about 2000 feet close to the Treaster vista.

Looking to Rent Someone's Intech Explore (VA-PA)

Since the Intech is production made they do have their pattern issues that need to be looked out for. There is an Intech RV owners Facebook group that shares and compares. Our experience has been fine overall. The Maxfan was squeaky from the beginning, the door latches needed several...

Looking to Rent Someone's Intech Explore (VA-PA)

While I don’t have an Explore, I do have an Intech Pursue and a DYI adventure trailer w/RTT (TB style) for comparison sake. Having both of them has shown the differences between potential durability more than anything. I consider our Intech more of an off grid camping system while our steel...

Anyone running wheel spacers on Trailer?

I’ve got about 7000 miles on my spacers without issues. Running Timbren 2200 lb axle with 3500# spindles so I feel there is a little more head room on the spindle load. After final tightening, I used a marker on the lugnuts and studs to put a reference mark for an indicator of movement when...

    What to do

Is a trailer an option to get more storage space? Certainly pros and cons, but can be cheaper the purchase costs associated with another vehicle.

    The 3 Amigos in Moab

Looks like another successful trip for all of you. We traveled out there last year for a few days and rented a Jeep for some of the trails. We were smitten and had to go back a few weeks ago with our own rig and trailer. The vast views and my epiphany of the scale of time just yearns for...

    A week through Appalachians

We recently completed an East coast to Southwest and Rocky Mountains 5k mile + tour, and found the re-opening of places to still be hit or miss between the different states. Our time sensitive to and return dates had reservations at KOA’s to be assured a nights stay. They were all noisier than...

Brand new guy to overlanding not camping. Welcomes (needs LOL) sound opinions on Overland Trailer

I have a 16 TE as well, and really not crazy about the deployment and packing of the rtt due to height and access with the canopy mounted. The best thing I like about our light tower trailer conversion is the much easier reach and to “manage “the tent and have a home base to travel from. There...

    Roof Top Tent Advice

We have been using a different brand and slightly smaller 56x96 sleeping footprint for the two of us and a Corgi. While it is cozy and “ok” for us, you will likely find the 60” a bit snug and getting more difficult as your young one continues to grow. I’m a small build and the wife is average...

Wagon West: Smoky Mountains to Moab

Onion Creek trail outside of Moab should be very doable as long as the run off isn’t too high. Mostly maintained dirt road that winds through the valleys with LOTS of shallow water crossings ( ankle deep for us this past May). Nice views of the canyons and valleys without the equipment torture...
