US Southeast Cedar Key Fl. Camping meet up

Would this not be recommend for 2WD (saw the medium difficulty)? We'd love to swing by but want to make sure.

Had actually forgot I put tape and glue over this crack [TB hose connection] many many months ago! Remarkably enough Rockauto didnt have the part, but Amazon did. For only $7 with Prime. Impressed with the difference in PSI (17 to 25) and reduced noise immediately. Lower intake temps excluded...

October was uneventful for the T4R. Spent everything prepping the roadster for a trunk-or-treat event. A little OT got me the famous Weathertech unibrow installed finally! Beginning research on plugs, coils/wires, injectors, vacuum hosing and getting the intake powdercoated by the end of this...

You are missed at the Miata meets, yanno! In that same vein, I'd love to vote for an OLB meet at Ace Cafe as a nice central location. Every other month?? Glad to see you here. I'd love to know your campsite experiences, since I've really only been to a few places in Ocala (springs etc).

All that has been changed out in the past 2 weekends. <$100 worth of parts. Could have been <$50 if I got rubber instead of poly (needed to upgrade so that the valve cover leak doesn't cause swelling and deterioration).

The tech who I had scheduled an alignment with, said he would rather not touch anything and waste my time... as my steering rack bushings were "in crumbles". To be fair, they weren't great but the description was more concerning than the results. Very convenient opportunity to put endlinks in...

Where did you install your OB emblem?

Just next to the handle! Would have preferred roadster style on the fender or even under the mirror, but I was amazed to see how little of that is flat space.

Success! Kind of. A lot of hurdles for something so ordinarily simple. Never realized my inner tie rod removal kit was "missing" 5 adapters. Always fun to rent a $150 part you use for less than 10 minutes. Hah. Stupid 42mm! Driver's side was a breeze. Dismantle and install in less than an hour...

Potential plans for this coming Sunday. The usual OE equivalent. Tie rods (inner + outer) and hopefully the endlinks won't be a righteous pain. I have adjustables on my roadster and the installation was not pleasant. Good ole' Timmy the Toolman Toyota for how to reference. [emoji106]

It's looking like I'll need that wild drive and the time left after, to fix the oil filter relocator on my roadster (fab some new AN lines tonight, for that and trans cooler). Along with prep to do tie rods + end links on the T4R. Always happy to hit up Ace Café and Castle Church Brewery (my...

I've got a nearly 2hr drive from work (5pm), out from the Kissimmee area. Will do my best to update if attendance changes on my end!

    1st ONF excursion! (9 photos)

Thank you so very much for the company! Proof that confidence is key here, regardless of rig or knowledge. We'll definitely venture back out to Ocala again soon for more scouting before your next trek down south. Hope to make a personally edited map to have notes on clean up, camp sites etc.

As notated: 1st ONF excursion! (9 photos) @WolfWings and myself met up (him all the way from Missouri to me in Florida!) to make the symbolic leap, before installing our new emblems together. I would have preferred to have it under the mirror or on the front fender (in 'roadster' style) but...

    1st ONF excursion! (9 photos)

While @WolfWings and myself recently recieved our OB badges, we made a pact to rightfully earn them before installment. Even with very limited equipment and otherwise zero modifications on either vehicle (aside from wheels & tyres)- we had a radical time! Ocala National Forest is going to be...
