Testing the waters here. I have a 1980 Toyota shot bed 4x4 pickup, just under 99,000 original miles. 4.56 gears, and a Spartan locker done by Yotamasters here in So-Cal. Lots of other upgrades as well. Different camper shells, and wheels available at different prices.Asking $9500 located in...
There are options, both north and south of the park. At the south end, between the freeway (I-10) and the park border, there are plenty of places for boondocking, but it’s fairly close to the road, and is probably fairly crowded about now. You can go south of the freeway and follow any of the...
My next sleep system is going to be a down backpacking quilt. I’ve pretty much decided on the UGQ bandit. Expensive, but it can be customized just how you want it. I don’t like sleeping bags either, I feel trapped in them, so the quilt should be perfect.

I’ve driven and rode in a lot of vehicles, (I work in the automotive industry), and the best riding vehicle capable of hitting some dirt that I’ve come across is a 5th generation (current)Toyota 4Runner. Very smooth ride on pavement and on dirt. You also get plenty of room, tons of aftermarket...
I had a great time too! The dumpster crew sure put some work in! I was so busy all day, I didn’t take any pictures! Just one camp picture. I can’t wait for the next one!
The new frontier actually looks pretty good. Automakers seem to have been competing with each other to make the ugliest truck lately. My local dealer has about a dozen on the lot, which really surprised me, all the new car lots are empty. The Chevy dealer next door has 7 new cars total.
