Not much to tell. I've been "car camping", backpacking, and exploring for 50 years. I'm still learning my way around the backcountry. I think I'll never be knowledgeable enough...who is really. I spent a while in the military, the largest backpacking club in the world, and then moved on to more interesting pursuits. Rock and ice climbing, kayaking, ultra-light backpacking, car camping and "overlanding". In the old days, I had a beater 2WD pickup and would live out of that for weeks at a time. Now, I have much fancier gear and still have the same kind of fun. As I've gotten older, my adventures are moving further and further away. As my career winds down, my level of adventuring is increasing. Gotta do it before I get really OLD. :)

- Well, it used to be a modified 2016 JKU, but my wife hated that Jeep. Told me to buy another one...who am I to argue. Now, 2019 JLU Rubicon.
