Local mountains in my area. Took our 5 month old puppy to see snow for the first time

I heard so many people on Instagram going out playing in the snow so I just had to do the same. Headed up to the local ski hill and yeah good times!!

Who else was playing in the snow today or over the weekend

I’m sure that was a giant as well. It’s a shame it’s just rotting away. I’m less the wind took it down

I’ve talked to some loggers while we were in town. I showed them that pick they said it’s been up there for 20 years or so

Well I came across this little off road trailer on yesterday’s adventure in Port Renfrew.

Yup at least they didn’t cut it down. It just goes to show how big some of these trees get. About 3k heading back down there is another one that has the title the world’s biggest. It’s about a 20 minute hike to get to it. And no clear cutting in that area.

Went to Port Renfrew to check out this giant fir tree. Lonely Doug they call it.
