Hey Kent. I was just trying to call you to see what your plans are for Expo West. I am planning on going, and that is the full extent of my preparations at this point. Give me a call wnen you have a minute.
Aaron, I will try to make it. I am running a new trail on Sand Mountain/Sand Hollow today, and will probably be off the trail early, so probably will see you in La Verkin at 6 for a short meeting.
Thank you for sharing this great article. I think it highlights some of the things that make overlanding so popular, such as getting out in the back country and breaking away from the urban lifestyle. I've tried everything from full time motorhome living to living in a jeep pulling a 5x8...
Howdy!
I'm located in St. George Utah
My current vehicles are a 2005 Jeep LJ Rubicon (built for rock crawling and offroad trails) and a 2006 Jeep Liberty CRD (Setup for backcountry adventures and minimalist overlanding*.)
My "Overlanding" experience started when my father bought a new 1959 CJ6...
Just a quick "Howdy" I have been following for a while, and finally signed up. I do a lot of trails in the SW Utah and Arizona Strip areas.
I currently use my Liberty CRD for overlanding. Love that torque! To keep it light, and cut down on wind drag, I use a ground tent. Thinking seriously...
I'll be there... for sure! (Sponsor coordinator and trail leader)
See you all there. Come and see why we get over 1,000 participants for this FUN event
