I hard mounted my own. It was a 12v radiator fan and a cheap amazon speed controller. The electrical has since been cleaned up and I added a cigarette plug so I can switch between my truck battery and jackery.
I currently use a Big Red 12 ton bottle jack which is overkill for my F150 and I have had another Big Red (8 ton I think) for my old Montero Sport. I got the most recent one as an open box from Amazon for about half price.
I was under the impression that the max tow package was only available on the 3.5 ecoboost. Mine did not come with any tow package but I have since added a class IV hitch, OEM brake controller, wiring harness, aux transmission cooler, HD sway bar, and everything else that the Max tow package...
10.5” AR-15 pistol under the back seat and Glock 19 on the hip. If I’m worried about snakes/bears then I carry a 4” Ruger Gp-100 in .357 magnum with first round snake shot and the other 5 rounds 180 gr hard cast lead.
Nice! I have a 2017. First thing I would do is remove the air dam under the bumper.
Have you done a level/lift? I went with the Bilstein 6112 in front and 5100 in the rear.
What kind of topper is that? Are you going to be putting a roof top tent on it?
What happened to the Diamondback cover? Didn't care for it? I have a 2017 F150 and I have contemplated getting a cover or cap to replace the toolbox I have on my truck now. the tool box is packed to the brim and takes up precious length of my 5.5' bed.
I would really love to go full in an get...
I had let this one go about 18 months. I usually try and do it once a year but I had gotten busy. The gas seems to have worked well even with the age. I use 2oz of Sta-bil for every can to keep it fresher longer. You can get a bottle of it for $12 and it will treat 80 gallons.
Have any of you F150 guys relocated your differential breathers? I’ve been thinking of picking up the ARB kit but I’m not sure if it will fit as it seems like they are marketed more towards Toyotas. Also, are there any other breathers located low on the frame?
No, its an open source program to enable different features or make adjustments. I have used it to enable the backup camera after I installed one.
I haven’t found a need to tune my truck. 3.5 Ecoboost is sufficient for my needs.
I just added the same grill. Some may call me a poser but the Chrome XLT grill on my truck was atrocious and I like the look.
As far as correcting for tire diameter, I believe you can correct it with Forscan (Freeware) on a laptop and an OBD-2 connector ($20).
