Thought I’d share some photos from a recent walk we went on. The Rexis Branch Trail is a side trail off the Ghost Town Trail in Pa. It’s only 4 miles long, but it’s a nice peaceful walk. The trail head is in Vintondale, Pa near the Eliza Furnace.
I know your pain. My 96D1 has had it’s wiring harness trashed by a previous owner, so I gutted it and starting over. Unfortunately mine has spent it’s life in the northeast and rust is the bigger issue.

Sometimes you just have to work with what you got. I have a friend that loves his Soul. He loads up his kayak and mtb and goes camping all weekend. He lives and works in D.C., so he needs a economical daily driver. He just uses a ground tent.

I’ve looked at these and thought they wouldn’t be a bad little mild off-roader, and still be a comfortable daily driver. When Jeep started building these crossovers, I thought Jeepers will hate them. Some do, but I think they opened up a new crowd to the outdoors. Nice build, looks like it works...

I solved all my electrical problems by gutting my 96 Disco. It will have a carb, distributor, and most important, no ecu. But in the Rovers defense, the previous owner hacked the wiring harnesses and made a mess.
