Hello! We live in Twain Harte on highway 108 and just a heads up that there is a ton of road damage up here on the forest service roads. Just be prepared for downed trees, washouts, and road closures (even on the easy roads). Have a great time - it’s a beautiful area!

I watched the YouTube video Overland Bound posted called, night photography basics. Great video. The picture below is our best photo from that night. Our first time at night photography.
Oh, one thing I learned was that if your trying to match the existing spray liner don't use a roller. If you use a paintbrush and dab the liner on you can ALMOST make it look like a spray job.
I have no preference for any of these products. I help a guy once who was using Raptor Liner. I honestly couldn't til the difference.
My only advice is to follow the instruction exactly and have everything that you'll need before you begin.
After many miles of dirt roads, the front of our offroading trailer is taking a beating.

I will always vote yes for cast iron, especially from a dutch oven. More often now than I used to I reach for a cast iron waffle iron.
You don't have to use it to make waffles. For example, hash browns in a waffle iron take less than half the time, saving stove fuel.

My wife and I completed the whole thing on 07.12.19. We took our time and completed it in 7 days. We had a Washington state discover pass (not a USFS permit) and a campfire permit as well, but no one checked us to see if we had one and we dispersed camped every night.
