Jeep TJ - Daily Driver / Adventure Rig

If your looking at a TJ, go right to the top model. Look at the Rubicon. Dana 44’s front and rear. Unless you go bigger than 35’s and wheel super aggressively you’ll never need another axle under you. That will save you thousands upfront. If you get a base TJ your looking at a Dana 35/30 combo...

    Beginner's Overland Rig

A full tank of fuel and get out there, sliders of course are a must to protect your rig. The more you get out they more you know what you need to be comfortable and prepared at your capacity. What keeps you from overlanding more?

Money/Time. It seems as if I have the disposable income to hit the trails or go wheel I don’t have the time. Or if I have the time I can afford to break. One day... one day neither will be a problem. Until then... Sent from my iPhone using OB Talk

In a perfect world...

How do you sink a Jeep?

Maybe they should have invested in a snorkel lol moved breathers to snorkel, dielectric greased some plugs, might have made it lol Sent from my iPhone using OB Talk

Sway bars or no sway bars?

I personally don't run away bars front or rear, its my experience the leaf springs provide enough stability. My XJ doesn't lean hard one way or the other on the daily commutes. For a vehicle with coil springs at all four corners I would say just run the rear sway bar. If you have the money quick...
