Talked to some ppl on 392. It looked pretty occupied so I kept scouting for a few hours then ended up spending the night at Neville bay. Got some much needed fishing in. Bummed I didn’t get to hang but I covered almost 50 miles. I’d call it a successful day. Hope 374 and 375 were fun for y’all.
Don't have coords, but this address will get you there Neville Bay Lake Access, Dover, TN 37058.
392 is beautiful, I'd be down for that. Will that fit us?
Hey all!
Have we decided on a camp spot? I will be taking the day to scout hunting areas, but I'd like to meet up with everyone at basecamp for dinner/shenanigans.
I would prefer the dispersed camping (included with the $7 permit). IMHO Neville bay could fit all of us easily, and it's...
I have been down FSR 374 and 375 many times, and it’s great when not too soupy out there. Excited to try some new roads and maybe scout out some hunting spots for deer season.
Welcome Nathaniel,
Day trip interest level = high.
Camping trip in 90+ degrees = low to moderate :)
We went to windrock last weekend and it wasn’t too bad. Granted, we had an electric fan running in the tent. I’ll probably plan another fall trip around September and post up in here.
We didn’t end up having time. It was raining when we got to Neville Bay so we just put tents up, unloaded the truck and did a few trails on the east side.
