    Titan Trail Trekker II

I ordered one last week. Seems like a great solution for my JK. They have been making high quality stuff for years, so I decided to try it. Only problem is they are 3-4 weeks backed up. Once you look at what $ it takes to carry a reasonable amount of fuel in rotopax, this seems like a solid...

    Sedona AZ Camping Help

Latest I hear is they are trying to get tourists to stop coming to Sedona. So you may want to check the status of that. Campendium will have listings for Sedona. There are nice areas west of town off FS 525. Very large area open to dispersed camping. The deeper N and W you go the nicer and more...

    Cheap “Tips” and “Tricks

I was going to post about using screen and magnets to cover a window for ventilation. Now I realize how lame it is as compared to your elegant solution. Nice job!

Finding a balance between camping and driving.

Honestly, everyone will have a different answer. Some trips need to be pushed hard to fit in the time allowed. My big goal is to get more time so I don't need to rush as much. I would often come back from an adventure exhausted from trying to fit everything in. I would suggest several things...

    Travel considerations when acquiring water

2-5 gal Scepter water cans. Nemo Helio water bag for showers, dishes. Fill camelbaks and cary a couple gallon jugs of drinking water. Also carry a water filter that I never really need. I keep thinking I need more capacity, but it is just 2 of us and usually able to find a resupply long before...

Share how it all started - Homage to the beginnings - Your story is welcome here!

We had been camping as a family from my earliest memories. Grade school was spent camping out in the woods next to our home with friends all summer long. HS graduation happened and the next day I took off with my (still) best friend. We left for a month in his "63 chevy pick up with a topper...

    Overland guitar

Taylor GS Mini. Smaller sized, sounds good enough to gig on. I have tried some of the smaller Martin backpacker and such. This works best for me. If you are just starting and looking to save space, a Uke might be something to think about. Plus they are inexpensive.

    Jeep Jk Fridge.

ARB 37 qt. Honestly love everything about it. It has been a game changer for camping. I too have a JK, sometimes I wish it was bigger, but then it would be bigger and take up more room. Mine runs 24/7.

    235 vs 30x9.50?

Just a thought. Make sure you are comparing the actual height of the tires. Most tires are not as tall as the sidewall numbers would suggest. When I was shopping, I discovered that the 34"s I ended up with (Nitto ridge Grappler ) were taller than some other tires marketed as 35"

What is your must cook meal or must have food for camping.

Deep dish pepperoni pizza on the skottle. Dough from scratch. It's amazing
