Yeah, we found a good spot off a Forest road next to a small pond. Lots of closed roads made it hard to follow our planned route but that was part of the adventure. I need to post the gpx files.

The bugs can be pretty bad but its nothing that bug spray and/or head nets can't handle! I've also found that if you can stay in the breeze (i.e. near water) it will help keep the bugs away. I've also recently purchased a thermacell that i'm itching (pun intended) to try.
