Hi all! I have lived in the Fernley area for over 30 years. I love back roading, camping. I have a 2016 Jeep Jk 2 door Rubi on a 3 inch lift with 35s. I drag a Smity Bilt scout trailer when camping. Looking foward to meeting others. (PS I'm Retired)

Hello from Illinois.
I just joined today to learn all I can about Overlanding. I’m new to to lifestyle but not new to the term as I’m a Marine veteran who experienced lots of bivouacs and time in the outdoors.
My current vehicle is a 2023 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Xtreme Recon.
I currently have a pop up tent with all the necessary ingredients to go camping but am looking into getting a Rooftop tent and building out my Jeep for the Overlanding purpose.
I hope to learn all I can.
