It is on the build list but it might be awhile.
Funny thing, I was deep in the Mendocino NF today working on one of our Trail Guardian Projects and tried to use CarPlay with Gaia and ONX and they were not responsive at all. My feeling is i will allways use my iPad and OB1. CarPlay is just too clunky.
