US Army, five years 71 - 76. Was 18 years old, running a printing press on the night shift. Knew I did not want to do that for the rest of my life, best advice my Dad gave me - join the Military it will change your life. Next day walked into the Army Recruiters office and signed up. My Dad was right, he served in WW II and his father in WWI. Ended up as a MP, did time in Nuclear Security transport and random other assignments. Spent 18 months in Korea, then home to Fort Ord (briefly), then finished up at Sierra Army Depot. Back in 72 I was driving a Jeep in the Army and 50 years later I'm driving a Jeep again. My Jeep 1972.png

14 years US Army/Natl Guard as an infantryman. 88-91 active duty, 91-96 national guard. Break in service, 99-05 national guard again. Currently employed as a 911 dispatcher, so, I get to tick both boxes :)
Thanks for your service William.
