Long Canyon starts at Silver Fork and ends at Pack Saddle Pass. The Sierra Foothills Overlanders/Overland Bound Meet-up adopted the trail through the FS several years ago. We hold 4 cleanups on the trail each season the first coming up in early June.

I will send you a GPS of the trail in the morning. There are actually several FS road numbers that make it confusing.

If you need any more info on the trail just message me anytime @Kent R

It is closed from early Dec to May

One more piece of info; Long Canyon is very near to Strawberry Trail and a good run is to do Long Canyon then Strawberry ending up at Highway 88. This can be made into a nice overlanding trip.
