US Southwest Texas Hill Country / Oxford Ranch Campground Meet-Up Nov 13-15th 2020

Looking forward to tomorrow. Planning on leaving Dallas area around 2pm and make it there around 6:30pm.

We will be setting up camp near the trees towards the middle of the campground. This will be near the vendor area if you've been to Texas Avid Outdoors. The GPS coordinates in the rally point will point you to the area 30.610537,-98.696610

Reminder several members will be bringing dishes for the Saturday night cookout. Feel free to bring something if you'd like.

See you all there.

Thanks

Mario
We are leaving Fort Worth by 9-9:30 and should be there right after lunch.

Just got to Oxford Ranch. There is a group set up in the designated spot. We found a good spot 100 yards away tucked back in a clearing that will be plenty big enough. Here’s the coordinates 30.60894, -98.69581

We are just going into Temple so about 2 hrs to go

For those who have not stayed at Oxford Ranch, Oxford Ranch does have restrooms, they will be a bit far from the campsite. So if you are not wanting to take the midnight stroll, or willing to go in a bush or behind a tree. Please come equipped for primitive camping. See you all Friday
We are ready!!

waiting on you!

Wow what a weekend!, Thank you Mario for setting up the event . We had a blast getting to meet everyone and making some new memories with our extended DFW/North Texas Overland Bound Family. This was our first time getting to do the Hill Country Run.. even though we only scratched the surface of the route we had such a great time seeing a part of Texas we never seen before. We are already getting things rolling to go back in the near future and spend a few more days exploring. Again Thank you to everyone for your hospitality.

Thanks for the great feedback all. I put together a short video of our weekend. Enjoy!

You did a great job setting up event and capturing it on video. It was great having members from other areas join us. Looking forward to next event!

Thank you, and agree that it as great to meet members from other area. Hope to see you all at the next event.
