Weird TICKING noise in dash?

Hey guys, I have a 2015 Wrangler. In the last 2 days I started hearing a crazy ticking noise in my dash. When I first open the door it ticks for a couple of seconds then stops. If I dial down the temp control knob it starts ticking when I turn to the coldest setting. It keeps ticking until I dial up at least 2 clicks warmer. Has anyone ever heard of this? I'm about to pull my dash apart! Please help.

Doesnt really match with when you open the door, but the only thing I can think of is bound up HVAC actuators.

It's probably an Hvac actuator. Most new vehicles cycle them on start up. I bet you have failing actuator.
