It was a bit windy at Leavitt Lake, so I had to take down the tarp.

Their was a lot of other vehicles. I camped at the south side of the lake and two rangers told me that this area was closed until further notice due to heavy impact. It looks like their was a Barrier to keep vehicles out, but someone moved it. The Rangers gave me 24 hours to move, so I just decided to cut my trip short and leave the next day.

Yeah I remember seeing that area. I had initially planned on setting up there but couldn’t tell if it was open so I moved on. It looks like a great spot from your pic though.
