Bought some woods and made a platform inside the truck for us to sleep.

bought stock rims with tires via CL. And went we go!

no idea of when I will be able to replace the missing items. It was close to 10 grand that was stolen off my truck. Oh well, life goes on..

This is why I used tamper-resistant nuts on my tent... people are shitty.

edit: also why I have always had like a $10k rider for aftermarket accessories beacuse my insurance (and many others) didn't cover my rack or tent without it.

I am always amazed, inspired by, and jealous of people that seem to persevere and remain positive after things like this happen. I know that remaining upset doesn't really help the situation but DAMN would I be angry! Kudos to you for picking up the pieces, remaining positive, and moving on.

I may sound so uppity... but I am in a better places than a lot of people at the moment. They may need those items they stole for a meal, I don't know but it doesn't get me anywhere if I stay in the shitty situation. They stole my stuff on Sun I believe, I built the platform quick and went on a trip on Wed. Now here I am in the woods...

I'm 50/50 about it really.

I do Jiu-Jitsu and been doing it for a longggggg time. I feel like if I catch the thief that I might hurt em bad. Really bad so I want to move on, made a police report and hoping one day they'll recover it without me seeing another DISCO with it in our community and beat the f out of them at a NRLC meet....

That looks like an open industrial parking, shipping, receiving lot. A safe place to park on weekdays from 9-5 but pretty much a target for professional thieves nights and weekends. I'm amazed they left the spare.

Been here for the last 5 years, parked here etc for many years, no incident. 1 incident here is not going to stop me from doing the things I have been doing. I just can't fit my truck/tent inside my warehouse. Too tall.

Your outlook is amazing and I hope I can emulate your point of view should something similar happen to me. I would at the very least have filed a police report and be keeping an eye on craigslist, facebook and ebay for a few weeks.

Oh... you're in a MUCH better head space than I am my brother! I'm afraid I'd just start kicking ass until I got everybody, that way I'd figure I'd have got them.

At least put up a description of the stuff. Only so many places to off it. Especially the tent. Sad thing is that I’d bet it was “ordered” and had a home before it ever came off your rig.
