Alasaka Bound

Not sure what part of Valdez are we talking about here.
I just had dinner at the Fat Mermaid for 4 and my bill was only $78,56.
We all had seafood and I had a beer on the draft too.
That's where we stopped. It was recommended. I must have received the cruise ship menu.

Hey Terry. Where are you on your adventure?

We got seriously lost coming back through Utah. Tried the Rim Rocker trail between Moab and Colorado. Finally found a main road. Now in Montrose, CO. Headed to Yankee Boy Basin in the morning.

Be safe and make memories

We made it home last night after 2 months on the road. Had a ball, ready to go somewhere else in the fall. Too HOT here (Eads TN).

Well just a few days away from leaving on a great adventure. Things are getting packed and staged in the garage. Food staples are packed in 2 sealed containers. Getting very excited.

OK everyone back from the adventure. It was utterly fantastic up there. To me a must go to place.
I'll be posting photos of the trip by each day for awhile. Cleanup of gear and rig has been fun. Your rig will get muddy/dirty up there.

First day was to get across the border and really the start of the fun. Got to a Provincial Park named Goldpan and camped right along the river. Not bad for $12 Canadian. The only downside was the train tracks that ran right across the road from camp.

Day 2 started off early. Headed through Prince George then along the beautiful John Hart Highway, Canada 97, stopping at the oldest home in the region, the Huble Homestead Historic Park. The house is a typical Ontario farmhouse built in 1911. Also the park consists of a General Store, Post Office and Blacksmiths Shop. Got there just as they were closing but had 15 minutes to look around quickly in the house and barn.
Finished the drive at Crooked River Provincial Park for the night and enjoyed a beautiful sunset over the lake. This is another $12 Canadian camp site.
