I finally had the time to install the new rear springs started out with 23" to pinch weld.
It took a little time and elbow grease but I got the old ones out and the new ones in.
Now I have 25" to the pinch weld, and more importantly the fender flares don't hit the tires every time I hit a bump

And I think I have figured out the transmission as well, had the torque converter changed to a higher stall and everything seems to be better. Maybe it likes the ford blue color

True, but I don't need that kind of firepower. I will stick with my Tacoma for now. That thing does have a lot of room for activities though!We live in America, you can do it if you want
Scraped the rim up pretty good, but she is not a mall crawler, so a badge of honor. I also broke the rear air port so the air compressor could not keep pressure, had to cut the hose off the air port and kink it off. 
For the day after Christmas we went to The Valley Of Fire, a nice State Park, no off road adventures but still fun dat with the family
