Very beautiful drive, was slightly over equipped w/ a rental 2017 4x4 f250, unsurprisingly did just fine.

It’s actually west of Colorado Springs, not east. The drive is easy in the summer months but can be snow covered, rutted and challenging in a fun way in the winter.
