Location: Livermore, CA (SF bay area)
Rig: 2008 Jeep Wrangler (JK) X – stock today.
Experience: Long time camper and hiker, new to Overlanding focus

Stumbled across this group looking for ideas for Jeep based travel and camping. I didn’t realize “Overlanding” was so popular and a “thing”. I have lots of reading and leaning to do now.

Thanks to everyone who posts ideas, rigs, and trip photos.

Welcome Scott! I'm not far from you.

Hello, All!

I'm Ryan.
A. Location: currently South Carolina (military), but my home is Graham, WA.

B. Rig: Land Rover 2003' Discovery II, "Gnasher".

C. Experience: Plenty of travel with the Marines. Lots of experience hiking/camping/fishing in the wilderness of the PNW.

I'm pretty new to the overland scene. Absolutely love places like this, and am working to break out of my shell and actually post in the forums!

Thanks for the habitat!

Thank you, Shawn.

I look forward to getting into the mix.

As well, thank you for your service. Different services, perhaps, but one team, one fight.

Cool site! Found it yesterday and already signed up for my member number and decal today, awaiting the number.

'06 Tundra and camper shell or a 4wD Durango depending on my needs.
Not quite sure on my skill and equipment level compared to some rigs I see here. I backpack/Mountaineer and travel the back roads of Colorado and a few trips to the Cascades in my quests, so maybe low medium level?
