Traveling to Boise

I'm planning to shoot up to Boise for about 6 days.
Would like I camp most of the time, try some good eateries, and maybe do a few 1-2 hour mountain bike rides. If anybody has any tips or recommendations of food, camp spots, sites and or mtb trails please share.

I'll be ready for some light 4x4 trails but don't want to get too crazy in this trip.

I had a hard time finding any outside of Boise Camping that isn't at least 30-40 mins outside of town. Just FYI.

Thanks for the heads up. Anywhere notable in that radius worth camping at? We're planning to stay around Boise area for 2-3 days then head out toward McCall.

1800 mile trip. Boise to Stanley to Sun Valley to Boise to Bend and back down to Northern California.
