Which land cruiser to choose

Hi all,

I have a very low budget and looking for my first 4X4 Overland rig and I was wondering which land cruiser was better between a 60 or 80 series

Can you find a diesel 80 series? It would be a very reliable vehicle. Either one will also keep its value.

Choices -
62 Series, Petrol 3Fe Fuel Injected, Automatic, Electric Windows-Door Locks, Power Steering, improved brakes, 4.11 gearing. 3 year production,
80 Series - avoid the 90 to 93 - seriously underpowered,
the FZJ 4.5 Liter motor, better horsepower, some shipped with Factory installed Lockers
I'd take a Turbo-Diesel if I could get one into the USA.

I'd go with the Series 80, and look for a low Km model (the year is less important than the Km).
