I recently bought a ram mount and really enjoyed it but it was a suction cup mount that vibrated when offroad.

I'm sure I don't have to explain the frustration of not being able to read a map or directions, especially when you're somewhere you've never been before.

I wanted to hard mount it but my F150 dash just didn't really have any places that wouldn't obstruct something else such as the radio, 4wd knob, A/C, etc. After thinking it over and buying a couple extra mounting pieces, I came up with an idea and mounted it like this:









The mounting point works great and can by easily removed if necessary.
