Wheel adapters and trailers

I'm looking to upgrade my utility trailer. I want to match the wheels on my 2011 Nissan Xterra and the trailer.
The adapters I've found seem to be unreasonably expensive.

I was going to do the same for my trailer to match my Wrangler & talked to a few trailer shops here in San Diego & they strongly encouraged me DO NOT install. They said they won’t even sell because of the liability issue. Not sure what they wear worried about but just my 2 cents. So just using the regular wheels & carrying a spare.
