What are good sources of information to plan a trip to South America?

Who has some good tips for good sources of information to plan a trip to South America, please?

OverlandSphere with the sub-forums and groups and the HUBB seem to be good sources. What else? Any recommendations and experiences?

I am watching the Overland Expedition South America series on Amazon right now. There is some great resouces in the series, but tis the inspiration that sealed the deal for me to want to do it. Patagonia is #1 on my bucket list.
