Hi all.

I thought some of you might find this waterpump an nice and simple solution for having running water at camp.

i use a USB powered waterpump.. (with internal battery) is very simple but effective.
I was looking for 12V pumps and faucet's and all that stuff but then saw someone on Expedition Portal
using this on those plastic military jerrycans.. he's said it's been working fine so i bought something similar.

Here's the one i got:

And a little video:

Cheers!

I dunno, more 'lectrics to fail/use up the battery? Why not go with a hand pump? I put one in a MWC can lid, How I did it is here in my blog; Military Water Carrier, MWC, faucet

I can see it's more convenient, just turn the faucet.

it has its own internal battery, charged by the micro USB port. So no use of the car battery.
I carry a 105AH Lithium pack and 120W solar so plenty of powerrrrrr… to charge it if needed.
Yes it can fail, therefore I carry the lit with faucet that came with the jerrycan.

I am sure the handpump works great,
but not what I was looking for myself.
Thanks anyway for the link.

(for that price I can buy 5 spare USB pumps lol)
